Formerly known as the National Alumni Meeting, the purpose of our Pride Leadership Summit is to engage and enlighten our Alumni community by providing the finest education and support. 2016 Pride Team Summit: Communication, Connection and Community
Your team also deserves to be inspired by Pride Institute and our community of simply the best dental teams! Formerly known as Advanced Team Training, we are partnering with an innovative training company that will lead our teams in advanced communication skills using clever challenges that engage each team member in problem solving, leading to a fun philanthropic project called “Paws for a Cause.” The project is a big secret for your team, but expect some 4-legged friends to help.
This year’s customized Summit will be centered on team communication with dynamic, practical skills development workshops and breakout sessions. We will use our newly minted skills in the context of a once-in-a-lifetime community service event that gets us out of our “dental office mindset” and into impacting the lives of others. In this Team Summit your team will:

Leadership Two: “The Motivating Leader”
For any leader to step up and create a culture that promotes self-direction and continuous improvement, it is essential to know and fully utilize the theory and language of Situational Leadership. Learn to identify the stages of change resistance and how to fully integrate the key skills for motivational feedback. Your team deserves the direction and support. Leadership Three: “The Emotionally Intelligent Leader”
Many dentists have plenty of IQ, but when it comes to EI (emotional intelligence), there is work to be done. The four dimensions of an emotionally intelligent leader are: Self-awareness, Self-management, Social awareness and Relationship management. In this workshop, through peer coaching, experiential learning and long proven theory, each leader will walk away with new skills in all four dimensions. Leadership Four: “ Leadership and Management for Continuous Growth”
Practice leaders need the specific skills for strategic thinking/strategic planning. Analyzing strengths, challenges, opportunities and threats (SWOT analysis) and recognizing the pressures that prevent a team from moving forward (Force Field analysis) gives each leader a distinct advantage in this competitive market place. That coupled with learning how to counsel poor performers and advanced conflict resolution techniques, completes this leadership series.
